What does practical, gritty, messy love look like?
In a world that seems to value self above others, God's church stands out as a different kind of place. Jesus said that the world will know that we are his disciples by the way that we love each other (John 13:35). 1 John 4:11 also holds true: Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. But how are we supposed to love each other, especially when we're feeling uncertain or overwhelmed? What does the Bible say about being a loving community?
At this event we'll hear from the Bible about Christian love and care; we'll hear from experienced Christians who serve in this space and we'll walk away with practical tips for putting these big concepts into practice.
